2010 was a challenging year for many companies in our industry. Operators only slowly started to release the budgets they had previously frozen and restart the projects delayed from 2009.
At ECT we also faced some special challenges, but ones which we were able to master successfully and which represent new milestones in the ECT story.
We completed several large projects for major carriers worldwide.
Together with our partner Ericsson, we provided at&t with the biggest ring back tone platform on the American continent with a capacity of over five million subscribers. The RBT platform at Tele2 Russia was also successfully extended to a further 17 sites and further sites are planned for 2011.
Our highly successful televoting platform was enhanced with further features for Deutsche Telekom.
We received the certification for our NGIN platform for SIP interconnection with the German PSTN, paving the way for many projects in the future.
Our new service creation environment was also deployed for the first time.
To give visible testimony of our continuous, organic growth, we launched a new logo with new websites. ECT Ring Back and effECTive® Network-Based Contact Centers were the first ECT products to get their own dedicated websites, there are more to follow in the coming months. These websites highlight every ECT product as a profit center of its own and give those interested in a specific product an abundance of information.
